After a few weeks thinking something wasn't right and finding bugs everywhere, it seems Facebook will be working over the weekend....

This morning I had a notification on my phone informing me that some apps needed to be updated, one of these was the Facebook app. The update? Tagging of friends in post, comments or photos. Allowing of emoji in messages. An update to sort your feed AND (best of all from a marketing perspective) a new feature to allow you to share stories from your news feed.

That was a long title wasn't it?!?!? But we've found this infographic created by the team at TabSite.com and had to share it. Facebook are constantly changing the dimensions for the way your images and apps are displayed, this is the most comprehensive and up-to-date (for now) graphic showing the exact pixel dimensions needed to showcase your business, fan, like page off.

Ever reported something you'd seen on Facebook as spam and wondered what happens then? Well I'm sure there's a document or article locked away in Facebooks archives explaining in every detail where that information goes, but how about something visual instead?

Recently I've been meeting lots of new businesses and clients who have set up a Facebook page but never really done anything with this or have the time to invest in marketing through this channel - that's where we come in ;) However, a recurring issue when we begin to help is that many of the page owners aren't sure how to make somebody else admin, more so now Timeline for Facebook pages has been introduced.

  • As a new company running an iconic Grade II listed building in Rossendale, getting local people to know about the services offered is a must. TaylorMade Social Media has been pushing information out to local people via Facebook and Twitter on our behalf on a regular basis and has got us more likes and followers thus meaning more local people now know what we do. Local social media pushing is great when you have a venue like ours that is used primarily by residents for Weddings, Christenings and Birthday Parties etc and much more cost effective than printed media.

  • We've used Taylor Made Social Media for almost a year now, and the work they have done for us is second to none. The Facebook page has grown from nothing to 3,000 followers during that time, with 500+ followers also on Twitter. At one point, we were growing too quickly to deal with it so we had to ask them to slow it down! They keep up-to-date with changes by the Social Media outlets to ensure you stay fresh. They also 'get inside' your business, and link you with relevant other pages within your industry to ensure a maximum return.  It's pointless having followers that have no interest in what you do, so ensuring the volume AND relevancy go hand in hand is vital, and that's something TaylorMade Social Media do for you. They come highly recommended.

  • TaylorMade Social Media has definitely improved our social presence; we have more than doubled in “likes” and “followers” in just a few months. Doing our own FB and Tweeting is so time consuming. Hiring TaylorMade Social Media was a good move and helped free time up to do other important things. Would absolutely recommend a must to work into your budget.
